Job Description:Overview:The Product Owner - Manufacturing Engineering Technology leads the improvement in processes and information systems on behalf of the Manufacturing business unit. You must be a self-starter and problem solver that is able to build relationships with stakeholders. This work includes close collaboration with the application development, manufacturing engineering and operations teams to create bespoke cutting-edge technology solutions. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge in manufacturing, material flow, inventory control, and ERP/MRP system best practices.This position is based full-time at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Remote work is not an option.Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. This position is ineligible for visa sponsorship.Responsibilities:Own, facilitate and execute the development and deployment of manufacturing technology productsCollaborate with Manufacturing Engineering & Operations to understand, anticipate and translate their needs into product requirementsDefine system requirements, priorities, and viable alternativesPartner with the application development team to drive system analysis and design as part of the software development life cycle (SDLC)Evaluate and analyze emerging technologies that may benefit the company and its goalsAssists in developing user documentation and departmental processes and proceduresProactively performs process and information systems analysis and makes recommendations for improvement that positively impact overall cost, efficiency, or qualityProvides technical training, guidance, and resource support for end users and departmental staffCoordinates conversions and upgrades to vendor systemsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing engineering or similar engineering discipline3+ years experience working with various types of manufacturing work cells, such as welding, machining, sewing, laser cutting, forming, and assembly3+ years experience in Material Requirement / Enterprise Resource Planning software & processesMust have ability to communicate and organize projects frequently under deadline pressureAbility to exercise independent judgment in planning, organizing, and performing systems analyst tasksPreferred Qualifications:1+ years experience in technical product ownership / business analysis and/or software development with project management or leadership responsibilitiesMBA or Masters degree in Industrial/Manufacturing EngineeringExperience utilizing Microsoft Dynamics ERPBy applying to Rogue, regardless of the platform you choose to use, you are agreeing to Rogue's preferred methods of communication (i.e. text message).
